When was the last time an Apple product actually got thicker? I think that would be the iPad 3, the first Retina Apple tablet, a product generally reviled by the critics and loved users. However, if the latest iPhone 6s rumor come true, Apple’s next smartphone update will fatter if only just a little.
Tapscape has reported extensively on the upcoming iPhone 6s and the details have remained quite stable over time — updated 12MP camera, Force Touch haptic feedback, faster A9 processor and 2GB RAM.
However, fresh juice from an unnamed source adds a new iPhone 6s wrinkle:
This device would also have the same height and width as its predecessor, but would have a 0.3mm increase in thickness. While we’d not be surprised if this space was made for additional battery, it’s more likely it’s set out for the new Force Touch for iPhone models — SlashGear

Seeing killer must-have features in the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus? Honestly, while Force Touch will be nice (meh), more battery capacity is what I’d most like to see.
In tangentially related news, a new twist in the long string of iPad Pro rumors is that Apple has trademarked the use of OS X El Capitan on a tablet.
“Can you image using touch enabled OS X El Capitan on your iPad Air?” writes the FairerPlatform “Honestly, I can, though it might go over better on the long-rumored 12.9-inch iPad Pro.”
This is the first time Apple has trademarked the use of OS X on an iPad. Another interesting twist is that OS X El Capitan when it ships this Fall will feature Force Touch haptic feedback, hmmm…
So, are you ready to buy an iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and/or iPad Pro? What features are you liking, think are missing?
