Apple has extended invitations to some of Silicon Valley’s biggest names to attend a private memorial service for the late Steve Jobs tomorrow, according to the Wall Street Journal.
“The event will be held at Stanford University’s campus Sunday evening, according to the invitation. It follows a small private funeral held for the Apple co-founder last week,” the newspaper reported.
The private service will be open to all who confirm their invitation and will be closed for media representatives.
Steve Jobs, the heart and soul of Apple, died of pancreatic cancer October 5, just a day after Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed the iPhone 4S during a media event in Cupertino, California. A private funeral was held two days later on October 7.
