Dogs can be the perfect companions to have if you’ve just moved into a premium condo like the 8@BT. The right breed can bring happiness with little maintenance and upkeep of living in a smaller space. Check out these dog breeds that have an excellent blend of temperament, size, and needs to thrive in a condo environment.
Bichon Frise
The Bichion Frise has a cute, round face with black, buttonlike eyes and hypoallergenic coat. The breed is considered a playful yet gentle house pet. They are also great with kids young and old! They, however, need high maintenance because they have thick, double coat that needs regular bathing, grooming, and de-matting.
Pug
The pug has an adorable, brown head with a black and wrinkly muzzle. They have long, fat legs with a big and sturdy body and tail that’s curled. They are affectionate and love other dogs and humans. Pugs are people-pleasers with great charm and outgoing personality. They are prone to breathing difficulties if they run continuously and not rest.
Shih Tzu
This cute little dog is known for being nicknamed “The lion dog” with facial features resembling guardian lions or foo dogs of the Chinese. They, however, are very friendly and can easily be companions for children and adults alike. They have large, black eyes that are fairly placed and cute, buttonlike nose. The shih tzu also has a rather smushed and short snout, so it might be difficult to run into far distances for this cute dog, so playtime must be split and offer plenty of rest.
Yorkshire Terrier
The Yorkshire terrier, also known as Yorkies, are known to hunt small critters like rats and are quite good at it given their compact size. They have low exercise needs, but they have an energetic personality, are very playful, and like to run around long distances. They have brown and black coats, cute, large black eyes, a short tail, and little feet that they love to use for digging.
