There are no new-comers to the Top 5 best-selling iPhone games list this week, with all positions filled by perennial iPhone favorites. Eternal chart-topper Angry Birds and spin-off Angry Birds Rio hold the top two spots, while an on-sale Plants vs Zombies re-enters the Top 5 with at a price of $2.99
#1 Angry Birds
The top selling iPhone game of all time now sports a mind-blowing 225 levels packed full of angry action, as well as leaderboards and achievements and a bunch of social features. With new updates released all the time, Angry Birds is one of few essential iOS titles.
#2 Angry Birds Rio
The latest successful release in the growing Angry Birds franchise, Angry Birds Rio brings 60 brand new and challenging bird-launching levels to iPhone and iPad. This time round the Angry Birds crew have been kidnapped and taken to Rio de Janiero, where they promptly escape and set about freeing their exotic tropical buddies Blu and Jewel.

The amazing work of just one man – Andreas Illiger – Tiny Wings has taken the App Store by force over the past three weeks and continues to dominate the the top of the chart. Tiny Wings is a great example of iPhone gaming done well. Simple to pick up and play, with crisp visuals and a beautiful soundtrack, it’s easy to see why Tiny Wings is still the number one iPhone download.
#4 Fruit Ninja
A frantically fun $0.99 hack-and-slash game, Fruit Ninja is no stranger to the top 5 with over 6 million iOS downloads to date. With three action-packed game modes, multiplayer and global leaderboards paired with slick 3D graphics, Fruit Ninja is easily among the best casual games for iPhone.
#5 Plants vs Zombies
