Gamers are spoiled for choices when it comes to playing online. Aside from the ones that can be downloaded for the iPhone and Android, you can also opt to play online casino games on a browser, for instance.
Not all online games are equal, though. There’s a reason why a particular title is more popular than others. That said, here are four recommended games to try.
Online Casinos
Betting on your favorite game of chance is no longer restricted to land-based casinos. Now, you can pull your smartphone or open your computer and play right in the comfort of your own home!
Digital casinos have grown leaps and bounds. You can play poker, roulette, blackjack, slots and more without having to download anything. Plus, you can get a ‘live’ version which emulates the atmosphere of a real casino.
The best thing about online casino games is that they can be played anytime, anywhere, whether you’re stuck in traffic or unwinding at the end of the day.
Minecraft
Minecraft arguably started the whole open world, block-building game that spawned countless clones. The premise is deceptively simple and yet addictive enough that you’ll come back for more.
You start out in a 3D sandbox environment that’s comprised of blocks. You gather blocks or build out structures and weapons. Other players can join in on the fun. You can build anything you want- the Eiffel Tower, a dinosaur or a tank, or engage in survival mode fighting off dangerous creatures.
Counter-Strike Global Offensive
CS: GO is an upgraded version of the original Counter-Strike, a Half-Life mod that turned into a global phenomenon. The first person shooter has you playing against another team armed with an assortment of guns, grenades and military equipment. The goals change depending on the map- you’ll have to defuse bombs, secure hostages and eliminate the other team in order to get a win.
League of Legends
League of Legends, or LoL for short is a MOBA type game. You choose from dozens of heroes and battle it out in a single map. But it’s not that simple- you kill mobs to gain experience and gold, which levels your toon up and allows you to buy gear, respectively.
HearthStone
What Magic: The Gathering popularized, HearthStone continued. It’s the spiritual partner to MTG in online form. You, the player collect cards and build ‘decks’ to combat your opponents. The objective is to bring your opponent’s life points to zero using fantastical creatures, spells and enchantments.
