Alleged iPad 3 part leaks and rumors have been circulating for the best part of 6 months, with most recent rumors pointing towards a 2048×1536 retina display and twin-bar lighting system, likely to be manufactured by Sharp.
Earlier in the year a dock connector and ribbon cable were leaked. Now, Chinese electronic parts store TVC-Mall.com have been noted to be selling a claimed iPad 3 microphone flex cable. If authentic, this small component may hint at a major redesign in the iPad 3, as there are a number of significant differences in the internal circuitry compared with the iPad 2.
Apple have yet to officially comment on the existence of the iPad 3, and specifications are still unknown. Rumors are currently pointing towards an early-2012 launch.
