We’re taking this rumor with a decent-sized grain of salt, but Japanese Apple blog Macotakara is reporting that Apple has plans to introduce a brand new Mac to the existing product line-up. Roughly translated, the product is said to be slated for release before the end of the year.
According to anonymous source in Asian supplier company, Apple seems to be preparing project to release new Mac line-up which is absolutely different from current products until end of this year.
Though this source does not told in detail, this new Mac line seems to be clearly different products from current ones, so new product name could be given.
Last year, Macotakara correctly predicted some yet-unannounced iPad 2 features, including a larger speaker, as well as the introduction of Final Cut Pro X and 3rd-party Thunderbolt devices at the iPad 2 media event.
