Apple Sells Two Million iPads In Two Months

Apple is selling iPads at a rate of a million a month. This morning the company announced it has sold over two million iPads in the past 60 days. A staggering sales number for any device in such a short period of time.

The iPad became available overseas this past weekend in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK with seven more coutries expected to be added by the end of the year.

Currently there are over 5,000 different apps available specifically for the device, with close to 200,000 total available when you start adding iPhone apps into the mix as well.
