Apple stores around the world plan to commemorate ten years of existence with an extreme makeover of their own. As noted previously this week, all Apple stores are shutting down early. Between 6PM and 6AM the outlets will be concealed from the inside by black sheets.
The most recent information comes from several anonymous sources. Instead of launching new hardware as expected, Apple will reportedly unveil a brand new shopping experience.
‘Apple Store 2.0’, as it has been dubbed, will sport iPads to display product prices and descriptions, and to receive payment and process returns (using RetailMe software). The revitalized experience will additionally showcase larger screens, improved sound systems, and “startup sessions” designed to help first time users learn their device inside and out.
