Reuters has added some last minute speculation to the dissipating iPad 3 rumor mill. Their most recent report claims that Apple is planning to pair the next generation iPad tablet with 4G LTE networking capability. This report all but confirms earlier claims from The Wall Street Journal and iMore, two sources that have reported similar information.
The third generation iPad will be capable of operating on a 4G LTE network, according to a source familiar with the product. Offering speeds roughly 10 times faster than 3G technology, 4G connectivity may go a long way toward resolving the sometimes choppy video quality of the current 3G models.
The iPad 3 is rumored to be powered by a quad core A6 chip. This tablet will reportedly sport a high resolution Retina Display capable of incredible performance. Apple is expected to launch the iPad 3 tomorrow during a media event in San Francisco.
