These days news are moving across the web that the Apple’s headquarters (the Apple Campus) in Cupertino, California is expected to focus on producing the MacBook Pro series and thus is not going to launch MacBook Air 2016(Although many Mac users are hoping its release). But the latest stories are saying that the Apple Inc. is not going to work on further Air products, as it is expected to make room for and produce comparatively new models to catch up with the other market products.
Many Ultrabooks of other companies are similar in functionality to the Apple’s MacBooks. Ultrabooks are physically much smaller and are light to carry along. For instance, such Ultrabooks include Toshiba Kirabook, Dell Xps 13, Lenovo Yoga 900, Asus Zenbook Ux305, Acer Aspire S7, Surface Book and Samsung Notebook 9 etc. Meanwhile, they have lightning speed Intel Core processors, awesome battery life and Solid State Drives for making data quickly accessible and reliable. Due to these features, the MacBook Air is losing the focus of the public.
One of the better alternatives to MacBook Air 2016 is the Dell XPS 13. This slim and light product (~1.2kg) has got a stylish aluminum case and a 13-inch screen in a 12-inch. To its right and left sides are available two USB 3.0 ports for faster data transfer, Noble Lock slot, SD card reader, headphones socket and a Dell Thunderbolt 3 connector. Its comes with Bluetooth 4.1 as well as 802.11ac Wi-Fi support. It comes with an excellent battery that lasts for about 12-hours. For super-fast performance a Corei7 6th generation processor is installed that works at the clock speed of 2200 MHz. And for better storage its providing 128GB SATA, 256GB- 1TB PCIe (PCI Express) SSD varieties.
Another great update to MacBook Air 2016 is Asus ZenBook UX305. This vibrant product is stunningly thin and light (thickness is 0.5 inches and weighs about 1.17 kg), has got a glare-free screen, fantabulous keyboard and a trackpad. This 13-inch laptop has got three USB 3.0 ports and a battery that lasts for 7 hours.
Apart from the above mentioned products, the other Ultrabooks like Toshiba Kirabook, Lenovo Yoga 900, Acer Aspire S7, Surface Book and Samsung Notebook 9 etc. may also knock off the MacBook Air 2016.
However, the new MacBook Pro models that would be released soon will have outstanding features like OLED touch-sensitive function keys and a Touch ID power button. Most probably these models will be released by the end of this year. These upcoming MacBook Pro Series will expectedly have support for USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 connector.
