All of this extra battery weight adds up to about 2 extra pounds of weight; which is more than compensated for by performance. Both models come with full sized USB 3.0 ports (the XPS 15 comes with two), as well as USB-C Thunderbolt 3 charge cords, SD cards, and a 3.5 mm headset. As an added bonus, Windows threw in an HDMI adaptability cable for the XPS 15 to make it an even better buy.
Dell XPS 13 and XPS 15: The Biggest Differences
Probably the biggest difference between these two models is the price. The XPS 13 starts at $800, while the XPS 15 starts at a loftier $900. That being said, the difference in price is a huge jump in software. You’ll get far more processing power, a better HDD, and overall better graphics. You might not spring the near $3,000 for the best version of the XPS 15; but it does provide a lot of sheer power for the base models that the XPS 13 will never match.
