Blizzard has opened up the doors to Hell a few weeks early. If you’ve got a valid Battle.net account, then you’re eligible to download a copy of the Diablo 3 open beta client and play for free all weekend.
The Diablo III open beta will run until 10 AM PST April 23rd, and is the last big stress test for the Battle.net servers ahead of the official May 15 launch date.
It’s been twelve years since the release of the highly influential and popular Diablo II – a game which redefined the RPG genre and set the standard for future Blizzard releases.
The Diablo 3 open beta allows you to play as any one of the game’s five unique classes; Barbarian, Witch Doctor, Monk, Wizard and Demon Hunter, all the way to level 13.
All you need to do to get involved is sign up/login to your Battle.net account, create a battletag and download the game client, which is available for both Mac and PC.
