A new version of Elements, one of the top writing applications for iPad and iPhone, has released in the App Store. The revamped app now offers iCloud syncing and Markdown conversion.
Many have touted Elements as one of the best writing apps available. The same still stands as the clean interface and well chosen options give you the choices that you need without cluttering the writing space. The new version adds several features that will surely be integrated with countless other apps.
First off, the revamped app is specific to iOS 5. While more than one third of iOS users have already upgraded their operating system, forcing users to upgrade is a relatively bold requirement.
Version 2.1 also offers anticipated iCloud syncing, which allows anyone with a subscription to sync their writing pieces to the cloud.
Many Elements users have been waiting for Markdown conversion for quite some time. Their wait has officially ended.
Elements 2.1 is a great upgrade to an already phenomenal app. It is available for download from the App Store for $4.99.
