CES is a great show for tablets, so there were a good number of them included at CES 2016. Acer, Huawei, Haier, Alcatel and others all showed of their latest Android tablets. These are a few that were at CES 2016.
Acer Iconia One 8

Acer unveiled the Iconia One 8 as a more family orientated tablet. It is a low-spec, budget tablet that runs with the Android 5 platform. The Iconia One 8 has one GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage, but you can expand that to 128 GB with its microSD slot. It also includes a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera. Acer is including a suite of its own apps for the Iconia One 8 among which are EZ Snap and EZ WakeUp. It will be available in February and retail at $99.
Huawei MediaPad M2
This was among the more exciting tablets shown at CES. For starters, it includes a responsive stylus pen and fingerprint recognition. With its harman/kardon audio and four stereo speakers the M2 has quality sound. The M2 also boasts a pretty decent 13-megapixel rear camera for photos. The gold, premium model has 3 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage, a 6660mAh battery and 1,920 X 1,200 display resolution. The gold model will be available at $469.
Alcatel OneTouch Pixi 4
Alcatel unveiled its Pixi 4 lineup that included a small tablet. The tablet has a 1.3 Ghz MediaTek processor, 1 GB RAM and 8GB ROM with expandable 32 GB microSD slot. So it is a relatively low-spec tablet, but it is running with the latest Android 6 platform.
HiSense VIDAA Mirror Tablet
The VIDAA Mirror Tablet is a sleek tablet that has small bezels. HiSense has added 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage to VIDAA. It incorporates a Rockchip RK3288 processor and includes a 8.4-inch display with 2,560 x 1,600 resolution. The VIDAA runs with the Android 5.1 Lollipop platform.
Haier HaierPad 971
Haier showcased a triumvirate of tablets at CES 2016. Among the tablets included was the Android HaierPad 971. That has a 1.8 Ghz processor, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB (expandable to 32 GB) internal storage. It also boasts a 9.7-inch display with 2,048 x 1,536 resolution. The back has an 8-megapixel camera, and the HaierPad 971 runs with the increasingly antiquated Android 4.4 KitKat platform. Haier did not provide any clear pricing or availability details for the 971.
Those were five Android tablets that companies unveiled at CES 2016. None of them are especially ground-breaking tablets, but the MediaPad M2 does show some innovation.
