Both the Galaxy S8 Plus and Galaxy S8 are going to be unveiled on March 29, and just like larger smartphones, there is going to be a vast number of differences between the two versions. According to previous rumors, both smartphones are going to feature the same resolution, which is 2560 x 1440. This QHD panel is going to be made using Samsung’s legendary Super AMOLED technology, which is already regarded as the best display for smartphones yet.
However, from a consumer point of view, which model would be better to purchase in terms of functionality. According to previous rumors, the Galaxy S8 is going to feature a 3,250mAh battery capacity while the larger version is going to feature a 3,750mAh battery, resulting in a huge difference between the two smartphones. This shows that purchasing a larger phone results in a bigger battery capacity, which automatically results in a better smartphone experience. Another difference is the screen size.
Leaks and rumors have pointed out the Samsung is going to be using larger displays to help consumers forget about what happened with the Note7. Under that approach and what rumors have stated, the Galaxy S8 is going to feature a 5.7-inch display, while the larger model will have a massive 6.2-inch Super AMOLED panel. A 6.2-inch screen will definitely be difficult to grip onto and with both versions coming with curved edge glass, the job becomes even harder.
However, having a larger display will actually work out in your favor because you will be able to view additional screen content, which is always a great advantage to have. Both phones are not getting the dual-camera feature, but looking at the image quality that Galaxy S7’s camera snapped, we can expect even better results from the upcoming phones.
The announcement of Galaxy S8 is going to place take place on March 29.
