Have a bad habit you want to break, or a good habit you want to cultivate? Check out Goal Go Flag!, an iPhone app developed by Taiwan Knowledge Bank Co., Ltd.
Goal Go Flag! is part to do list, and part habit changing app. The developers behind Goal Go Flag! say that by adopting a new habit regularly (or abstaining from a bad habit) for 21 days, the habit becomes second nature.
This theory about how long it takes to break a bad habit is something I’ve encountered before, and even written a little bit about. Some researchers say it takes 21 days, or up to 30, but there is some decent research to back this claim up. Knowing that, you can feel more confident taking Goal Go Flag! for a spin.
The old school way to track the days on your habit-changing path was to place a coin in a jar for every day you did well on your quest for personal growth. But I vastly prefer the iPhone app interface that Goal Go Flag! provides. Tracking your daily progress is simple, and its easy to monitor your habits (both good and bad) at a glance.
Goal Go Flag! lets you sign in with Facebook, or skip that step and get right to goal tracking. While there were some minor crashing issues during testing, Goal Go Flag! was otherwise solid.
The interface of the app has a vibrant system of color-coded tabs, and adding goals to your list is as simple as dragging a finger down the screen. Whether you want to start a new exercise habit or break a bad habit, Goal Go Flag! is a great iPhone app for monitoring your progress.
Goal Go Flag! is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. Requires iOS 5.0 or later. This app is optimized for iPhone 5. A small expedite fee was paid by the developer to speed up the publication of this iPhone app review.
