Happy Sheep is an iPhone game developed by Andrey Esin, Ivan Vasilyev and Artem Radevich. Happy Sheep is a charming game with cute graphics which tests your concentration and reflexes.

The core gameplay is simple. Your Happy Sheep goal is to sort the sheep by color, using a complex system of reversible conveyor belts. Make sure the sheep land in the appropriate baskets, and you will progress. It sounds simple, but it actually takes really fast fingers and an ability to multi-task in order to prevent sheep from going astray.

As you progress, the conveyor belts speed up, and it becomes harder to send sheep onto the correct conveyor belts. After each level, the wool you collect is turned into cute items like hats, socks, slippers, jackets, or scarves.

It really takes a lot of concentration to keep the conveyor belts going in the correct direction. Thankfully, you can easily change the direction of a belt with a single tap. Happy Sheep is seriously challenging, but it is also seriously fun.

There are some features that aren’t all that impressive, such as multiple language support (there’s not really all that much in-game text, you see.) A lot of people online have been praising the original music that is featured in Happy Sheep. While it’s cute, it’s not particularly memorable or special, IMHO.

With 30 unlockable achievements to keep you motivated and totally addictive gameplay, Happy Sheep is a home run. Even if you don’t knit, you’ll become obsessed with unlocking and creating all of the different clothes and knitted wool goods that the game has to offer.

SCORE: 9/10

Happy Sheep is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. Requires iOS 5.0 or later. This app is optimized for iPhone 5.
