According to Digitimes, Apple will be surprising it’s worldwide fan base with built-in wireless charging for their next iPhone installment, the iPhone 5s.
Digitimes reported today that:
“Apple is likely to adopt the wireless charging technology developed internally, but it remains unknown if the next-generation iPhone will come with built-in wireless charging capability or with other attached accessories, said the sources.”
There are no rumours on how Apple will implement the idea, but it wouldn’t be a wild expectation to anticipate a device which comes boxed with the iPhone 5s to aid the wireless charging.
Similarly, Samsung have followed suit, and are expected to include wireless charging as a feature for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4. Nokia, LG Electronics and HTC have already taken the plunge and incorporated wireless charging into their devices, so it was only a matter of time before Samsung & Apple followed suit.
