Pardon me while I whip this out. Although it seems unlikely Apple will release new or update smartphones anytime soon, the rumor mill is working overtime, producing fresh iPhone 6 concept images and illicit snaps of private iPhone 5S parts.

The good people at ADR Studio have created and published how it imagines Apple’s upcoming iPhone 6 will look like and what specs it might have:

• An edge-to-edge 4.3-inch Retina 2 display
• 18-megapixel camera w/ dual-LED flash
• Quad-core A7 processor running iOS 7
• Embedded fingerprint scanner

And, via the land of the rising sun, come spy photos of the iPhone 5S logicboard (top), which appears designed to carry larger Apple A-series processor and to be narrower than the one found in the current iPhone 5.

Naturally, smaller logicboard would make more space for a larger battery, which is always good news.

So, do you think Apple will ship a larger and all-new iPhone 6 this year or should we be prepared to “settle” for just the iPhone 5S?

Inquiring minds want to know…
