We all have secrets. None of us want them to see the light of day. If you want the convinience of keeping your secrets on your iPhone, but you’re worried that friends who borrow your phone might see what you’ve been up to, then you should definitely check out iSecrets, an iPhone app developed by App Ideas.
iSecrets basically creates a hidden, secret section on your iPhone where you can use a multi-tab browser to look over your secret items, whatever they may be. iSecrets supports photos, documents, and video files (including file extensions like Flv, Avi, Wmv, Mkv, etc.)
Additionally, iSecrets makes it super easy to import your secret files. iSecrets can import media files from the web, your camera, iTunes (using a USB cable), wi-fi, and even Facebook albums.
One of the coolest aspects of iSecrets is how tactile everything feels. In addition to a touch-based connect the dots gesture you can set to lock the phone, iSecrets also supports what they call a “panic gesture.” Simply put your hand on the screen or close the smart cover to log out of iSecrets immediately and preserve your secrets from prying eyes.
Should your secrets be uncovered, you have some recourse. iSecrets tracks each attempt to access your media and tracks their GPS coordinates. How cool is that?
If you want an iPhone app that makes you feel like James Bond, store your secret and not-so-secret docs on your iPhone with iSecrets. iSecrets has been freshly updated to play nice with iOS 6, the iPhone 5, and all other phones by virtue of a bug fix, so try it out!
iSecrets is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. Requires iOS 4.3 or later. This app is optimized for iPhone 5. A small expedite fee was paid by the developer to speed up the publication of this iPhone app review.
