2. Stick to a timetable-

Aspirants should make a timetable so that they can cover the subject-wise syllabus of each exam within time. Candidates should strictly follow their timetable because regular studies can only help them get a seat in an NIT.

3. Follow Important Books by eminent authors for JEE Main-

Students are advised to start with their NCERT books for the basics and later refer to the critical books for JEE Main. These books have detailed explanations and are sufficient to cover the syllabus of the exam.

4. Attempt Mock Tests and solve sample papers-

The aspiring students should solve more and more of JEE Main mock tests and sample papers as experts prepare these on the exact basis of the actual pattern of the exam. These mock tests and sample papers come with an analysis of performance and immensely help increase speed and improve time management.

Revision- Revision is an all-important exercise. Candidates should finish the syllabus much in advance and give proper time to revision in their study plan. Care should be taken not to omit any part of the syllabus.

How does one get Admitted to an NIT for an Engineering Degree?

It must be kept in mind that the cut-off varies from course to course, from year to year, and from institute to institute. There are differential cut-offs for different categories. Other category (OC) candidates will fall under a different cut-off category compared to a candidate belonging to Other Backward Classes. Various factors are taken into consideration by the authorities before coming to the cut-off score.
