Judge Rejects Apple’s Move to Block Samsung Galaxy Sales in U.S.

According to a report by Reuters, a legal move by Apple to block the sale of Samsung Galaxy smartphones in the U.S. has been rejected by San Jose District Judge Lucy Koh.

While the lawsuit is ongoing, today’s result delivers an early blow to Apple’s patent dispute with Samsung. Apple have continued to repeat their stance that “blatant copying is wrong”, however Koh remarked that Apple had not proven that the alleged patent infringements have led to a loss;

It is not clear that an injunction on Samsung’s accused devices would prevent Apple from being irreparably harmed

The legal war between the two tech giants now spans 10 countries, with over 20 separate cases.
