Looking to get your hands on LG’s latest Android flagship smartphone, the LG Optimus G? Then you may want to get ready to head over to the nearest Sprint or AT&T shop to pre-order what is easily one of the best smartphones you can purchase this coming holiday season.
AT&T and Sprint have both announced their release schedules and pricing for the LG Optimus G today. AT&T will get the superphone first and will have it available on their shelves starting November 2. Pre-orders will begin tomorrow, October 16. Sprint on the other hand will make the LG Optimus G available on November 11 and will start taking pre-orders for the device on November 1. Both carriers will offer the device for an extremely reasonable $199.99 with a new two-year contract.
So why is the LG Optimus G one of the best phones coming out this holiday season? Easy, just check out these specs — 4.7-inch True HD IPS Plus display, 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 8-megapixel camera, 2100mAh battery and Android Ice Cream Sandwich (upgradeable to Android Jelly bean in December). In fact, Google agrees that it’s such an awesome handset that they’ve decided to model its next Google Nexus smartphone after it.
