MacX Video Converter Pro Mac App Review

MacX Video Converter Pro is a software application designed for Mac computers. It was designed by Digiarty Software, Inc.

MacX Video Converter Pro lets you do pretty much anything you’d want to do with video or image file: convert videos, download videos, make photo slideshows, capture video from your screen, and edit your videos. This software also lets you manipulate YouTube clips, and contains over 370 built-in video & audio codecs.

With all of these features, getting your bearings can be a little confusing. Thankfully, there is a handy user guide that provides short descriptions of how to practice common tasks. The images in the guide do a great job of clarifying certain sticking points.

MacX Video Converter Pro’s main selling point is its ability to keep “a perfect balance” between video quality and converting speed. The software claims that it can convert up to 32x faster than other services, with 98% quality preserved.

Another perk? For those of your participating in Apple’s public beta program for OS X Yosemite, it appears that MacX Video Converter will work. According to the software website, Yosemite is supported.

The interface is pretty clean, despite the huge array of features and controls. The controls themselves are intuitive, and I found I didn’t need to refer to the user manual to figure out how to do things.

This bit of software supports a preposterously huge array of input and output file types, as well as supporting multiple languages. Grab it now, since it’s currently on sale for just $34.95 (regular price $49.95)

MacX Video Converter Pro is designed to work on Mac computers. A Windows version of MacX Video Converter Pro is also available. The Windows version is compatiblewith Windows 8 (32 & 64 bit), Windows 7 (32 & 64 bit), Vista (32 & 64 bit), Microsoft® Windows 98, NT, 2000, 2003, and XP.
