Mad Catz

Mad Catz Gamers, brace yourselves and get ready for the overwhelming desire to change your keyboard. This week, at CES 2013 in Las Vegas, electronics and gaming accessories developer, Mad Catz, has released their new high-end gaming keyboard.

The S.T.R.I.K.E. 7 is a multifaceted gaming keyboard that does just about everything you can imagine. The most unique (and equally awesome) feature is its four-piece modular design. It, essentially, breaks apart into four pieces to allow gamers to position the pieces in a way that is comfortable for them in a long-term gaming environment.

That’s not the only feature that makes this keyboard amazing, however. Mad Catz has gone above and beyond to ensure that this gaming keyboard surpasses all others. The S.T.R.I.K.E. 7 also sports 24 programmable buttons over 3 modes, interchangeable WASD and arrow keys, two high speed USB ports, a completely awesome V.E.N.O.M. touchscreen interface. It also has a 3-part active wrist and palm rest system that is a must have for any serious gamer, as well as integrated TeamSpeak functionality with visual identifier.

Other perks include the Multiple Cyborg gaming apps, function strip and macro programming that is very user friendly. The Mad Catz S.T.R.I.K.E. 7 has also won the “Best of Innovations 2013” award during its debut at CES this year.

As other, more popular, brands like Razer usually take the top spot in a category like gaming keyboards, it is refreshing to see an old favorite like Mad Catz come out with an innovative product of this caliber.

The Mad Catz S.T.R.I.K.E. 7 keyboard can be purchased from the Mad Catz retail website or from Amazon for just under $300.00. Considering the closeness in price of lesser quality keyboards, I would say that eh Mad Catz S.T.R.I.K.E. 7 is well worth the investment.
