Paws QuiVive

In situations where regular check-ins with relatives are crucial, there’s no better app than Paws QuiVive for the job. Today, we’ll be reviewing Paws QuiVive and how it can help ensure you or your loved ones are safe.

Paws QuiVive – Initial Impressions

The app is free, fairly lightweight (in size), and offers in-app purchases in the form of subscriptions. There’s the ad-free plan and the standard plan, but you can try the app for 30 days without paying and decide until then.

Creating a profile is quick and it only needs minimal information. I set up the timed space, then time interval when the ICE (in case of emergency) contact is notified, then the time of day when the wellness check will be initiated. The ICE contact information, e.g., name, country, and mobile number is required to complete the process.

There’s also the Vacation Mode and Notify Local Police Department options near the save part, but it’s worth mentioning that the local police department is only available in certain areas. Vacation Mode is self-explanatory- just toggle it when you need a pause in alerts. However, you shouldn’t forget to turn it back on when you settle into your regular routine.

The Experience

Paws QuiVive is simple and straightforward, which is a good thing for those who want an uncomplicated app. After the initial setup, it’s time to see if the app works.

The app did a check-in alert at the intended time, and from there, it’s just a matter of telling it that the user is well and there’s no danger. To test it out, I did not press the button when the next check-in time came, and the app promptly sent an alert to another device (presumably the emergency contact).

Paws QuiVive in text

All in all, Paws QuiVive does an excellent job where it matters- getting timely alerts and notifications during safety check-ins. This might seem trivial, but it’s crucial in instances where there are aged people, people with conditions, pets, and single parents.
