Two retailers have already made pre-orders and information available for the upcoming Sony Xperia L and Xperia SP smartphones
It seem as though a few retailers let word slip about two unreleased Sony smartphones, the Xperia L and Xperia SP. Even better than simply mentioning the phones, according to the Xperia Blog, the phones are up for pre-order on as many as four different UK retailer websites including Lambda Tek and Micro Aid. While these listing do provide a release date and price, there were almost no details about the Xperia L or Xperia SP to be found.
Lambda Tek has listed pre-orders for the Sony Xperia L at 219 pounds and the Xperia SP for 312 pounds. Both of these phones will be available for Lambda customers on March 19th. Micro Aid is offering both of the phones even earlier saying that they will both ship out on March 12th.
The two other online retailers that are listing the phones already include Amazon and eBuyer, but they are not offering pre-orders, prices or release dates unlike Lambda and Micro Aid. As far as internal specs and features for the two phones, we can only go by previous leaks (of which there have be plenty.)
Sony’s Xperia L will likely have:
- 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor
- 4.3-inch 480×854 touchscreen
- 8-megapixel Exmor RS camera
- 8GB Internal Memory
- MicroSD card slot
- 1,700 mAh battery
- Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean)
The Xperia SP is reported to include:
- Qualcomm Spapdragon S4 Pro chipset
- 1.7GHz dual-core processor and Adreno 320 graphics
- 4.6-inch 720p display
- 8-megapixel Exmor RS camera
- 8GB of internal storage
While none of these specs can be confirmed, they have been included in almost all of the recent leaks suggesting that they are at least close to the official Xperia L and Xperia SP specs. We should know more about both the Sony Xperia L and SP within the coming days since according to the pre-orders, they will ship out any time now.
