Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 pricing details leaked!

If like us, you’ve also been looking forward to Samsung’s latest tablet offering, the Galaxy Note 8.0, then you may be happy to know that we’ve gotten word as to how much the device will potentially cost.

Bulgarian website tablet.bg reveals that the Galaxy Note 8.0, which people are expecting to be available sometime in March, will have a starting price of 699 Bulgarian leva or 359 euros for the Wi-Fi only version.  That translates to roughly $480.

So what else can you expect from the Samsung Galaxy 8.0? Here’s a list of anticipated specs:

8-inch display @ 1280×800 pixels, 189ppi

While we commend Samsung for keeping the device’s price below$500, people may not be immediately inclined to get it as its priced practically the same as a 16GB Wi-Fi only version of the iPad mini. Granted, the device has a slightly bigger screen than its Apple counterpart but will that be enough to sway people to pick this mini tablet instead? And if people wanted a bigger screen, then wouldn’t they be better off with a full-sized 10-inch tablet?

Don’t get us wrong. We’re still very excited about the Galaxy Note 8.0 but we’re just a little worried as to how it will actually fare against the iPad mini.

Will you choose the Galaxy Note 8.0 over the iPad mini? Let us know in the comments below!
