Shark Attack 2 iPhone Game Review: Better Than Shark Week

[app id=”624026184″]

Shark Attack 2 is an iPhone game developed by Kameleon Games. Somewhat similar to the iPhone smash hit game Plants vs. Zombies, Shark Attack 2 is a colorful defense game with a wide array of sea creatures at your disposal.

Everyone knows that Shark Week was kind of a bust this year (thanks, fake Megalodon “documentary”). If you love sharks, this fun game is definitely more fun than watching Shark Week, at least this year’s Shark Week, anyway.

In Shark Attack 2, you must collect pearls to buy new fish. These various types of fish are used to defend against sharks and the allies of the sharks. If you like tower defense games, this is a beaut.

Shark Attack 2 has a ton of variety. There are 18 fish to choose from if you want to defend yourself, and you will face off against 28 different types of aquatic enemies. The variety keeps gameplay fresh, and ensures that the defense aspect of the game requires careful planning and strategies.

The interface is intuitive, and the gameplay is excellent. The controls are simple, and the overall experience is quite addictive.

Spanning 50 levels across five very different worlds, Shark Attack 2 has a lot of content to recommend it. For under two bucks, there’s a lot to enjoy here. Shark Attack 2 is a fun game that’s a good value for money. On top of it all, this game is universal, so you can enjoy it on all your devices for one low price.

Developer note about this game: “We DO NOT SUPPORT iPhone 3GS or iPod 3rd Gen and below.”

Shark Attack 2 is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. Requires iOS 5.0 or later. This app is optimized for iPhone 5.
