One of the key individuals who helped create Appleās new voice control platform has left the company, according to AllThingsD.
Dag Kittlaus, who served as the CEO of Siri since co-founding the company in 2007, reportedly left Apple shortly after the launch of the iPhone 4S earlier this month.
A desire to live closer to his family was the main cause for his departure, though Kittlaus, an entrepreneur, also wishes to brainstorm some new ideas.
Siri has quickly become the prime selling point for the new iPhone 4S and iOS 5. The voice recognition software allows users to utilize a number of voice commands to question and control their Apple handset.
