Music streaming service Slacker Radio has launched its long awaited iPad app. The supersized application offers the same features as the company’s popular iPhone and iPod Touch app, just optimized for the iPad’s larger display.
The app, for example, lets users view information about the song that’s currently playing as well as the next song in the playlist at the top of the screen while the lower area lets users search for new artists, browse stations, album info, or biographical information.
While paid subscribers can listen to music on demand, Slacker offers more than 150 genre-based music stations for free.
‘Slacker Radio’ is available for free from the iOS App Store.
