ToDo Checklist iPhone App Review
Price: $1.99 Score: 9/10 Category: Productivity
ToDo Checklist, an iPhone app developed by Brain in Stock, is a great tool for managing your daily to-do lists and managing tasks. You can add contact information to your tasks, including email and phone, so you can quickly contact your colleagues with a single tap.
In our household, we’ve actually had a hard time finding a shopping list app that is easy to use on the go, and allows for easy checking off of items as you go. We sort of like Shopping List Free, but more often than not, I find myself using the iPhone’s built-in Notes feature.
But now that I’ve tried ToDo Checklist, I think it’s gonna be my go-to app when tracking my purchases at the grocery store. Not to mention tracking my to-do list when I’m on the run.
Checking off items from your list is incredibly intuitive, and the interface is pretty straightforward. I also found the color palette of ToDo Checklist to be less straining on my eyes than the built-in Calendar app. You can organize your tasks into Important Tasks, Today’s Tasks, and Outdated Tasks (as well as All Tasks.)
For two bucks, you get an alarm, tasks list, shareability (making it perfect for planning trips or projects with friends), notes, archiving tasks, and a feedback option. While some of those things may be superfluous to some users, ToDo Checklist is absolutely worth $2 for its great task management center.
With the latest update (Version 1.5.1), there’s now Dropbox support, making an already great iPhone app even better. You can also automatically create task lists from text messages, emails and birthdays of your contacts. If you’ve been looking for a new task manager, this is one to check out.
ToDo Checklist is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad. Requires iOS 5.0 or later.
