WeHeartPics iPhone App review
Price: FREE Score: 10/10 Category: Photo & Video
Every so often, I stumble across an app that is so simple, so useful, and so gosh darn nifty, that I’m at a loss to explain why I’ve not encountered something like it before. WeHeartPics is exactly that kind of app: slick, fun, and just plain cool.
Rather than searching through a chronological timeline of photos on your phone’s camera roll or in your Facebook timeline, you can use WeHeartPics to organizes your life’s fragmented moments into coherent stories, a tool that lets you create photo essays that enrich your snapshot memories.
After all, as the developers are quick to point out on the app’s page, “A picture is worth a thousand words, and it’s a lot more fun to see snapshots of your friends’ lives than it is to read about them.”
The slick, smart layout of the app turns any collection of photos from boring old photo album filler into true eye candy, and it’s just as easy on the eyes as it is easy to operate. And it does all the work for you: why build an album when WeHeartPics can make the process nearly painless for you instead?
And much in the same way as an app like Wander, WeHeartPics lets you connect on a deeper level with people around the world, by allowing you to share the little things, the minute details of a day that make up the moments that define us as people. Friends become best friends, and strangers become something more.
For the whopping price tag of zero dollars, there is absolutely no reason not to check out this app. It will completely change the way you share your photos, and the way you keep them organized on your phone. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then this app is worth millions.
WeHeartPics is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad. Requires iOS 4.0 or later. A small expedite fee was paid to speed up the publication of this review.
